The staff of Comache Cellars love unique varietals, so they've created a new wine tasting menu to highlight some of their best! Stop by and try the Carignane, Trousseau, Negrette, & Il Rinnegato in their latest Adventurous Flight. (Don't worry, traditionalists, they continue to offer their original tasting menu, too!) Tasting fee for 4 wines is $15, but fee is waived with purchase of two bottles.

All Monterey County residents are invited to participate in Slowfiber's 2021 Fashion Revolution Week Virtual Fashion Show, launching online on April 19. All ages and skill levels are welcome!

Monterey Conference Center has installed new public art for all of us to enjoy in Jeffers Plaza, an outdoor space connecting the Conference Center with Portola Hotel and Spa. The plaza is named after Robinson Jeffers (1887-1962), an influential local poet and icon of the environmental movement.

The bronze sculptures of Jeffers were created by local artists Will Pettee and Carol Matranga Courtney . We encourage you to go in person and check it out the next time you're in Downtown Old Monterey. Monterey Conference Center is located at 1 Portola Plaza.

The City of Monterey offers a parking program which allows Monterey residents, displaying the proper decal permit, a maximum of two hours of free parking, per day, per parking facility. The decals are honored in the Downtown East and West Garage, (at Franklin & Tyler), the Waterfront Attendant Lot (at Washington & Del Monte), and the Cannery Row Garage (at Foam & Prescott).

A resident parking permit decal can now be obtained online. Fee is $20 and the permit is valid for 12 months.

Fieldwork Brewing Company is now accepting reservations at our Monterey Beer Garden located at 560 Munras Avenue. Reservations for parties up to 8 people can be made up to 10 days in advance on our website . Walk-ups are always welcome, too - we're open daily for outdoor dining, 12pm-9pm.
