Sculpture by Salvador Dali Now on View at The Dali Expo

Posted on June 30th, 2019 by Dali - Closed

The Dali Expo has been lucky enough to acquire a piece sculpted by Salvador Dali entitled Profile of Time. It's now on display upstairs at the Expo, next to the an original tapestry painted by Dali, Perception of Time.

At first glance, Profile of Time is simply is a melting clock on a branch. But if you take a closer look you can see that the clock itself is a profile of Dali’s face. Within the face there is a teardrop coming from the profile's eye and you can see Dali's mustache right next to number 9 on the face of the clock. The piece examines the relationship between time and men in the world we live in today.

Visit us at 5 Custom House Plaza in Monterey and view the sculpture in person!
