Final Portrait is the story of the touching and offbeat friendship between American writer and art-lover James Lord and Alberto Giacometti, revealing unique insight into the beauty, frustration, profundity and sometimes the chaos of the artistic process. Set in 1964, while on a short trip to Paris, Lord is asked by his friend, Giacometti, to sit for a portrait. This Hashiri Shincha was grown exclusively on the Moriuchi Tea Farm where it was picked by hand. Tea grown at this farm has received many awards and has been selected as a tea supplier for the Emperor’s palace.

Shincha Kunpu: Kunpu means “aromatic wind” and comes form the Honyama region of Shizuoka. It is lightly steamed with a woodsy aroma and a natural sweetness similar to fresh green vegetables.
