Beginning Free Motion Stitching Workshop at Slowfiber

Slowfiber presents a Beginning Free Motion Machine Stitching Workshop taught by Lyn Sandberg on Saturday, April 26, 12:30pm-5pm. Fee is $80 - register on Slowfiber's website.

You must be a proficient machine sewist with a free motion foot that fits your sewing machine in order to attend this class.

About the Workshop

Tired of straight lines and "in the ditch" quilting? Free motion quilting will set you free! Get empowered! Because this skill that has to be practiced to be perfected, it's good to have a pro at the ready to help guide you as you learn to become the designer, the frame guider for the quilt, and the stitch regulator...simultaneously.

In this class we will practice the most common motifs such as pebbles, stipples, flowers, cursive writing, and stencils.
