Beginning Knitting Lessons at Slowfiber

Slowfiber invites you to a beginning knitting class on Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm, November 30 - December 28. Fee is $75. Register on the Slowfiber website.

Knitting doesn't have to be scary! In this 5-week class, Jaki Canterbury will show you how to cast on, cast off, and make a beautiful knit and purl stitch. These are foundational to all knitting and can't be skipped over, so learning to do them well will set you up for future success. Our goal is for you to become an independent knitter. We'll start with a simple scarf project, and you will have homework.
