Monterey Pride

Monterey's annual LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration and Parade returns on Saturday, June 27. The parade begins at 11am at Alvarado Street and Polk Street near Alta Bakery, continuing down Alvarado Street all the way to Custom House Plaza.

Afterwards, bring the whole family to Custom House Plaza, 12pm-3pm, to enjoy speakers and free entertainment for all ages, shopping and dining from local vendors, and info tables by local groups and agencies.

Come celebrate love, inclusion, and community as the City of Monterey and Monterey Peninsula Pride raise the Pride flag at Monterey City Hall on Friday, May 29 at 4pm. All are welcome. It's a good opportunity to connect with local LGBTQIA2S+ folks and allies.

Monterey Peninsula Pride is hosting a Pottery Paint and Sip at The Hot Spot Studios on Saturday, October 18, 7pm-9pm. 10% of proceeds from the event will go to Monterey Peninsula Pride!

In collaboration with Monterey Peninsula Pride, The Pearl Works will host a friendly Conversation Corner in a community tent during the Pride celebration on Saturday, June 28, 12pm-3pm.

Enter into a safe space that allows for meaningful connections and discussions, separate from the hustle and bustle of the festivities.

Alvarado Street Brewery is holding a Schitt's Creek Trivia Night in the beer garden, 7pm-9pm!

Put your Rose family knowledge to the test! We're fundraising for Monterey Peninsula Pride tonight - suggested donation is $5. Costumes encouraged.

Wholehearted Tattoo presents a tattoo flash event fundraiser on Friday, December 13 12pm-8pm. Proceeds will benefit Monterey Peninsula Pride's Monterey County Gives campaign. We'll have pre-drawn designs celebrating LGBTQ+ culture. Details here.

Wholehearted Tattoo presents Tattoos and Pride, a flash fundraiser on Saturday, June 22, 12pm-8pm, benefiting the Queer Youth Recognition Scholarship of Monterey Peninsula Pride.

Alvarado Street Brewery invites you to join us in the beer garden on Monday, June 10, 7pm-9pm, for our first-ever RuPaul's drag race trivia night.

Trivia will include your favorite queens, your favorite moments, and you might even be read to filth! We'll have prizes for 1st and 2nd place, food and drink specials, and a permanent jewelry pop-up by Love Linx.

Monterey Peninsula Pride is thrilled our annual LGBTQ+ Pride Celebration and Parade will return to Downtown Old Monterey on Saturday, July 15.

The opening parade will begin at 11am, going down Alvarado Street from Pearl Street to Franklin Street. Then, at Custom House Plaza, 12pm-3pm, bring the whole family to shop and eat from a variety of local vendors and enjoy a lineup of queer entertainers including our endlessly talented emcees Rogue Roulette and Khloe QuarterPounder.

Performers and speakers Saturday afternoon will include: Diversity Celebration with Quazar, Grand Marshal Tyller Williamson, Golden & Olga, Xinistra, Paul Richmond, Helixir, WooWoo Monroe, Glodean Champion, and GoldenLuca Oake.
