California State Parks presents Los Exploradores de Monterey Summer Day Camp at Monterey State Historic Park, a day camp for students grades 3-5. In this unique summer program, day campers will experience Monterey's historical buildings and colorful gardens through hands-on activities and interactive guided tours.

All four 5-day sessions will be held in June and July - see the schedule here and list of activities here . Fee is $325 per week, or $550 for two sessions. Financial assistance is available.

The Teaching Across Generations (TAG) program is returning to Youth Arts Collective (YAC) this summer, with workshops open to artists ages 11-13.

TAG sessions happen two Saturdays per month, 10am-12pm. Participants will explore collage, mobile-making, painting, and ceramics. Sign up for individual or multiple sessions.

Wendi Kirby Music is now enrolling children for our Summer Music Camps. They include a variety of piano, singing, and general music camps geared towards children 5-14 plus a Musical Storytime on Thursday mornings for kids ages 5 and under with a caregiver. Learn more here.

Monterey Pacific Rotary Club is collecting new and gently used luggage (backpacks, duffel bags, carry-on bags, etc.) for The Kinship Center / Seneca.

Many local foster children carry their things in garbage bags or shopping bags when transitioning into care homes. Let's give these kids their own luggage.
