We would like to congratulate Venture Gallery's artist Carole Belliveau, whose painting, Garden on East Shore, won the Island Award at the Alameda Plein Air Paintout of the Frank Betts Art Center. The Alameda Plein Air Paintout attracts juried entries from all over the country; it's a superb and competitive group of plein air artists. This year's juror was nationally-known artist Jeff Horn.
