Joe Mora Symposium and Exhibit Reception at Stanton Center

The Monterey History and Art Association is host an entire weekend of activities centered around the work of artist Jo Mora on October 5 and 6. On Saturday, October 5, there will be a symposium at Stanton Center, 9am-3:30pm, followed by a reception to enjoy the Stanton Center exhibit Jo Mora: Cartographer, 3:30pm-5pm.
Jo Mora Symposium
The Jo Mora Symposium will be held at Stanton Center Theater, 9am-3:30pm. Tickets are $60 for MHAA members, $80 for all others. Purchase tickets here.

Jo Mora: Cartographer Exhibit
The exhibit, “Jo Mora: Cartographer,” is the largest collection of Jo Mora’s cartes ever displayed. Twenty-two cartes are now on display, including Mora’s “Seventeen Mile” carte, which has recently been re-dated to 1935.
