Slowfiber presents a six-part class where you'll learn how to make a Stash-Buster Dress or Tunic. Class begins on Tuesday, March 28, 5:30pm-7:30pm, and will continue weekly through May 2. Fee is $150. Register on the Slowfiber website.
Have you ever wished you could make use of all of your fabric pieces that are too small for the standard garments we want to make? Those tempting fat quarters and larger scraps and smaller pieces of special cloth would be so great if only there was enough! Learn how Jaki Canterbury combines textures and colors to make one piece of yardage so we can lay out our pattern and get cutting. Not only is it a fun exercise in matching but the end product is a surprise too.
Students should be able to operate their sewing machine very well and follow a simple pattern.
