Free Creative Writing Course Begins at Old Capitol Books

Old Capitol Books is sponsoring a free creative writing class entitled "Social Writing Action." This is a 6-week course with 10 classes, meeting Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:20pm-5:50pm, via Zoom. Course Instructor is Alaina Joleen, MFA Graduate Student and CSUMB Creative Writing alum. Ages 18 and older are welcome. To sign up, please email Alaina.

Students will read the works of writers engaging in social action and use these works as models to transform their own writing. You will read works from different genres, discuss different authors' craft / techniques, generate new creative material, and revise your work. Find further details here.
