In honor of Halloween, the City of Monterey presents a free Trunk-or-Treat and Movie in the Park on the lawn of Colton Hall.

The walk-through trunk-or-treat will be held 5pm-6:30pm. Our feature film, Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas , will begin at 7pm. Come dressed in costume.

Monterey Museum of Art presents a Spooktacular Free Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 28, 11am-3pm. Drop by the Museum for a fun-filled afternoon filled with eerie excitement and creativity.

Featured art activities will include: crafting paper pumpkins, constructing cute pom-pom spiders, and designing spooky houses.

Come to Youth Arts Collective this Friday, 4:30pm-6:30pm, for an orientation session for a new arts project.

Speak Not So Easy , led by local artist and educator Mai Ryuno, offers youth (age 14 to early 20s) the opportunity to become a catalyst for change through participation in socially engaged art activities and collaboration with like-minded youth and professionals. Join us!

Monterey Museum of Art presents a Free Family Fun Day on Saturday, October 7, 11am-3pm. Drop by the Museum for a fun-filled afternoon art-making inspired by our fall exhibitions.

Featured art activities will include: nightscapes using oil pastels, light exploration in photography, and thangka mandalas using gold and colored paper.

MY Museum invites you and your children ages 3+ to join us on Saturday, September 16, as we partner with Red Engine Rides for a cruise around town. We're offering 15 minute rides in an open-air fire engine for $25 per person. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Rides depart every half hour, 10am-11:30am. Advance reservations required.
