Artist Workshop: Algae Cyanotypes and Mixed Media

Monterey Museum of Art invites you to discover the creative possibilities of cyanotypes with professional marine biologists and artists Jenny Grossman and Madi McKay! Participants will make their own cyanotype paper and learn about different seaweeds and algae in Monterey Bay. Using those materials, create your own unique cyanotype design and, as a final touch, add mixed media elements such as watercolor, oil pastel, and charcoal.
Open to all experience levels!
