Beginning Knitting Lessons at Slowfiber

Slowfiber invites you to a beginning knitting class on March 11 and 25, 2pm-3:30pm. Fee is $40. Register on the Slowfiber website.

Join Slowfiber's knitting instructor Becky in the pursuit of expanding your textile skills. We know that the beginning of anything can be scary. Knitting doesn't have to be. We will show you how to cast on, cast off, and make a beautiful knit and purl stitch.

You will meet with Becky twice for an hour and a half each time and when you are done you will be a knitter! At the first meeting you will cast on and knit. The time in between classes is for you to practice your new found skill. The second meeting will be learning to purl, cast off, and troubleshoot. You are welcome to stick around after class and knit.
