Monterey Museum of Art Panel: Shadows from the Past Exhibition

Monterey Museum of Art invites you to hear directly from the artists featured in our current exhibition entitled Shadows from the Past: Sansei Artists and the American Concentration Camps. Join us for a fascinating live discussion on Thursday, October 14, 5pm-6:30pm on Zoom and hear about the artists' artwork, motivations, and experiences as Sansei artists living in California. The panel will be followed by a question and answer session with the audience.

Speakers will include artists Masako Takahashi, Jerry Takigawa, Reiko Fujii, Lucien Kubo, Wendy Maruyama, Tom Nakashima, Lydia Nakashima Degarrod, Na Omi Judy Shintani, and Museum Curator Gail Enns.

Fee is $10 for Museum members, $20 for all others. Please register online in advance.
