About the Show
This sultry reimagining of the iconic musical blends classic vaudeville flair with bold burlesque artistry, delivering an evening of seductive choreography, shimmering costumes, and high-voltage storytelling.
Adding even more electricity to the stage, a live jazz band arranged by Ben Herod with singer Malinda DeRouen brings the era to life with sizzling brass, lush harmonies, and the unmistakable pulse of prohibition-era Chicago. From sultry solos to full-ensemble showstoppers, every number is infused with the richness and spontaneity of live jazz and features new choreography by Geoff Alexander.
This is Chicago like you’ve never seen it before: bold, brassy and irresistibly burlesque. Let’s not forget the historic bar being tended by Katie Blandin from Pearl Hour! Gimlets, anyone?
