Colin Hay is a Scottish-Australian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and actor. He came to prominence as the lead vocalist of the band Men at Work, and later as a solo artist. Hay's music has been frequently used by actor and director Zach Braff in his work, which helped a career rebirth in the mid-2000s.
Lazlo Bane is an American alt-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1995. Their first LP, 11 Transistor, released in 1996, included a cover of Men at Work’s “Overkill” and featured Colin Hay as a guest vocalist. The video for the song went on to become a top 10 for MTV2 the following year and marked the first of several collaborations with Colin Hay over the years.
