Monterey 4th of July Parade 2015

Monterey's annual 4th of July Parade is a must-attend celebration that draws approximately 15,000 people to line the streets in and around Old Monterey. Come revel in the festive floats, patriotic displays, entertaining costumes, and musical bands.
In this year's parade, we're pleased to feature the award-winning, 140-member Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, one of the top drum and bugle corps in the country, as well as the Monterey Bay Pipe Band, the 1st New York Volunteer Fife & Drum Corps, and Samba Legal of Pacific Grove.
PARADE ROUTE:
The parade will start at the corner of Alvarado Street and Pearl Street. It will go down Alvarado Street and turn left onto Del Monte Ave and then take an immediate left onto Calle Principal. It will continue on Calle Principal until Jefferson Street, and end there. Please see PARADE ROUTE MAP for a visual parade route and street closures.
PARKING:
The best place to park on the day of the parade will be the West Garage, East Garage, or Lot 7 with entry on Pacific Avenue. Please refer to the Downtown Parking Map for locations. If you have any specific questions about parking, please contact the City of Monterey - Parking Division.
