On Friday, February 6 at 7:30pm, David Richo returns to Luminata Books and Gifts to talk about his newest book, The Power of Grace: Recognizing Unexpected Gifts on Our Path. This is a free event - all are welcome.
Perhaps all of us have had experiences when things fall into place almost effortlessly, seemingly even miraculously. These experiences come to us by grace, moments when life opens up and hands us a gift. This help from outside ourselves can be life changing. David Richo offers us teachings and practices that can help us open our eyes to sources of grace everywhere and in everyone. As we do so, we begin to see our lives through the lens of wonder, and we become vessels for its power to others.
David Richo is a popular teacher, therapist, and workshop leader in Santa Barbara and San Francisco. He combines Jungian, Buddhist, and mythic perspectives in his work, and helps people to live with compassion and mindfulness. He is the author of many books, including How to Be an Adult in Relationships and The Five Things We Cannot Change...And the Happiness We Find by Embracing Them.
