About Peter Barnes Martin

Peter Barnes Martin was born in Rochester, New York. Inspired by his father, uncle, and Marty McFly, he first picked up the guitar at the age of 9. A graduate of the Jazz Studies department of Michigan State University, he's toured nationally both as a solo performer and as a guitarist with the Joseph Herbst Sextet. His love for many styles of music, including Folk, Jazz, and Neo-Soul, informs his own sound.
