Shilstone and Wilson at Melville Tavern

Melville Tavern hosts live music every Tuesday, 6:30pm-8:30pm. Tonight we'll feature the duo Shilstone and Wilson. Arrive early and enjoy our Happy Hour, 4pm-6pm.

About Shilstone and Wilson

Between them, Mark Shilstone and Rod Wilson have more than a century’s worth of experience as musicians. Shilstone has fronted numerous rock and roll bands over the years and, as a solo musician, has opened for the likes of John Sebastian (The Lovin’ Spoonful) and Roger McGuinn (The Byrds).

Wilson, a percussionist who started playing drums in the 6th grade, is a fixture on the rock scene here on the Monterey Peninsula. Along the way he's opened for a number of headliners including Eric Burdon and the Animals, Cold Blood, Billy Preston and Tower of Power, just to name a few.
