Plein Air Painting in Old Monterey

The Old Monterey Foundation presents Plein Air in Old Monterey, featuring artists painting outdoors at historic adobes and gardens on Saturday, April 15, 10am-2:30pm. The public is welcome to stop by and watch the artists at work!

Afterwards, 3pm-4pm, an exhibit and sale of the art will be held on Calle Principal behind the Monterey Museum of Art (559 Pacific Street). Awards for the artwork will be announced at 3:30pm.

Want to find out where to see the plein air painters? Maps designating the artists' locations will be available at Stanton Center (5 Custom House Plaza) and at the Old Monterey Foundation booth at the Monterey Museum of Art Block Party.

Artists will include: Elizabeth Murray, Al Shamble, Barbara West, Branham Rendlen, Debra Nichols, Donald Neff, Donna Robbins, Elaine Goldstone, Georgesse Gomez, Kati D’Amore, Linda Elling, McKenzie Floyd, Murray Wagnon, Paola Berthoin, Steve Wise, Victoria Galitzine, and Willa Strupat.
