"Curious About Crypto?" at The Pearl Works

You've probably heard the term “cryptocurrency” or “crypto” in the news, but what does it mean? During this session, Lee will introduce cryptocurrency and provide context around what you've been hearing.

At the end of this presentation you will understand: what crypto and cryptocurrency are, crypto and cryptocurrencies' role in the future, how it relates to you, and how it affects your legacy. In 1-2 hours, you will learn about the fundamentals of crypto and information about the global financial system that you definitely didn’t learn in school. The evening will include a Q&A session.

Lee Rider has been involved in the crypto industry since 2011. He works full-time as head of Quantitative Analytics at a crypto startup where they build data-driven tools and education for retail crypto investors and traders. Before working full-time in crypto, he was an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) semiconductor engineer working on solving some of the most challenging problems currently facing customers.
