Concert by William Faulkner, Jalisco Harpist, at Colton Hall

The Museums and Cultural Arts Commission presents a concert by Jalisco harpist William Faulkner on Thursday, February 13 at 7:30pm at Colton Hall. Admission is free but seating is limited and reservations are required - please call 831-646-5640.

William Faulkner has played the harp since 1979. Director of the Mariachi Mixtlán 1980-1998, and a solo harpist since 1983, William and his harp have traveled throughout California and the Southwestern U.S. as well as through various parts of Mexico.

He has studied with Arturo Mendoza, former harpist with the Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, and has given workshops at festivals in Mexico City, Guadalajara, California, Arizona, and New Mexico. William and his harp have traveled widely - places such as Scotland to Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands.
