Monterey Museum of Art presents Puzzling the Ethereal Zone Mixed Media Workshop with instructor Susan Hyde Greene on Saturday, October 20, 1:30pm-3:30pm. Fee is $25 for museum members, $30 for all others.
The Ethereal Zone represents those moments of imagination which allow us to transcend our everyday lives and make art. Puzzle your own ethereal zone as you cut, collage, and craft mixed media to reimagine images. Spin a narrative, a new place, or an abstracted space.
Award winning photographer Susan Hyde Green is a member of the highly popular photography collective Salon Jane. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts as well as a Master of Science in Special Education. She was a popular instructor and advisor at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco for 30 years and has exhibited around the country. Salon Jane’s exhibition, The Ethereal Zone, runs through November 26, 2018.
