About Gregory Gallardo
Gregory Gallardo. known professionally as Gregorytheartist, is a Salinas-based painter and muralist with a deep personal connection to art and advocacy. As a combat veteran grappling with PTSD and bipolar disorder, Gregory channels his experiences into vibrant, textured acrylic canvases that explore serene landscapes, blending abstract realism with bold brushstrokes to convey both movement and tranquility. His artistic journey not only expresses his natural talent and spiritual gratitude but also serves as a platform to raise awareness about mental health, embodying a commitment to community through volunteerism and collaborative cultural events in Salinas.
About SanDee Adams
SanDee Adams, a mosaic artist based in Aromas, deeply integrates herself into community life through her vibrant public artworks and leadership in local arts organizations such as Aromas Hills Artisans. Using eclectic materials such as stained glass and hammered copper, she creates bespoke mosaics inspired by nature, infusing whimsical interpretations into personalized commissions while fostering cross-county cultural awareness and pride in her tri-county community.
About Jose Arreola
José Arreola has been instrumental in Salinas' public art scene since 2020, spearheading initiatives like the annual Public Art Plan and the Downtown Trash Corral Art Project, which revitalized urban spaces through community-focused murals. His leadership extends to fostering local artistic talent through initiatives like the Amor Salinas Public "Hearts" project and the Neighborhood Beautification grant program, showcasing his dedication to integrating art into community life and celebrating cultural heritage.
