Rosine's Restaurant opened in 1980 and was an instant success. The family shared in the work, from cooking and baking to serving and greeting. Rosine's quickly gained notoriety for their delicious homemade soups, hearty meals and sumptuous array of homemade, award-winning desserts. Jim and Rosine have since retired but you can still catch them mingling with customers and Rosine enjoying her tried and true recipes. Their son, daughter-in-law and grandsons are continuing on the legacy as a third-generation family-run restaurant celebrating over 41 years.
Voted 'Local's Favorite', 'Best Family Restaurant', 'Best Comfort Food', 'Best Desserts' and more for over 31 years. They are featured on The Food Network show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, hosted by Guy Fieri. Episode name is 'Stuffed and Twisted', Guy and owner Jim Culcasi prepared their famous Minestrone Soup and Lasagna. They were also featured on 100 Mile Meals, a local show highlighting the Monterey Peninsula.
To this day, Rosine's continues a tradition of homemade food, daily specials and award-winning desserts, offering local wine, craft beer and special craft cocktails.
