Breakfast options include breakfast croissants, oatmeal, quiche, yogurt, fruit, and danish. The lunch menu includes a variety of delicious sandwiches, soups, and salads, made fresh to order. Master Baker Jackie Jegat, the owner and founder, was born in Doué-la-Fontaine, France. He began his baking career at the age of 16 as an apprentice at a shop in Saumur, and later moved to Paris where he opened his first bakery at the age of 23. In 1985, Jackie moved to Monterey and bought Maison du Croissant, now known as Paris Bakery. Over time, Paris Bakery has become a true family business as Jackie’s brother, his wife, and his children have become involved. Jackie still bakes seven days a week, and is happy to see his bakery full of satisfied customers
