At The Bench Jeweler, you’ll find a selection of new and vintage fine jewelry and watches for men and women, including engagement and wedding ring sets. The shop is owned and operated by Jaime Torres, a full service jeweler experienced in all phases of jewelry fabrication. Jaime handles repairs, modifications, and custom fabrications in-house. He also buys gold, fine metals, and diamonds.

From 1991 through 1993, Jaime Torres was trained in jewelry repair and fabrication by the original owner of Pacific Grove Jewelers, Steve Melino, a master jeweler. Upon completing his training, Jaime was employed by Pacific Grove Jewelers until 2001 when he decided to pursue the American Dream and open The Bench Jeweler. With an emphasis on excellent customer service, Jaime has become the trusted jeweler for many clients who have been with him since the beginning.

The Bench Jeweler can be found near Monterey Marriott Hotel in Old Monterey. Jewelry cleaning and diagnostics are free of charge. Jaime also repairs watches and eyeglass frames.
