As part of Monterey Car Week 2019, the Old Monterey Business Association hosted a kick off event on August 9, 2019. The event featured a large number of historic race cars lined up for viewing on Alvarado St. Visitors to the event had a chance to get an up close and personal look at the race cars of the past and meet their drivers who will actually be racing their classic speedsters at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion held at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in the following week.
