ISGC Therapy Group for Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse

Posted on July 15th, 2019 by ISGC

The Intimacy, Sexuality, and Gender Center of Monterey presents a therapy group for male survivors of sexual abuse every Monday night, 6pm-9pm. Stephen Braveman, LMFT, DST facilitates this healing group and provides men a safe, private, and nurturing environment to move beyond the pain related to childhood sexual abuse. Participants work through isolation, fear, confusion, depression, low self-esteem, and anger with other men who have had similar experience. Fee is $30 per person, per session.

This one-of-a-kind group on the Central Coast has been on-going since 1994. Stephen Braveman is one of the creators of, and featured in, the groundbreaking documentary Boyhood Shadows: I Swore I’d Never Tell.

Join the hundreds of men who have worked through ISGC's program and have become empowered to take their lives back. Please phone Wanda for an intake appointment, 831-375-7553. ISGC is located at 494 Alvarado Street, Suite A, in Old Monterey.
