Montrio Bistro Participates in Inaugural "Get Hooked" Restaurant Week

Posted on January 15th, 2019 by Montrio

Hey there landlubbers, Montrio Bistro is happy to announce that we're part of the inaugural Get Hooked restaurant week in Monterey, January 14-21, 2019. We can't wait for diners to dig into what we're offering!

This week we're featuring seared black cod, red grape salsa, French lentils, fried leeks, and a Zinfandel reduction. You can pair it with a 2015 Gilles Gaudron, Chenin Blanc, "Belle au Naturel," Vouvray Sec, Loire Valley France ($17 glass / $68 bottle). Black cod, caught locally by fisherman Jerry Wetle, is also known as sablefish or butterfish.

Get Hooked: Putting Monterey's Best Fish Forward is an official program of California Restaurant Month, a week-long celebration of Monterey Bay's restaurants sourcing locally landed and sustainably-caught seafood.
