Fleet Feet Monterey is hosting the Third Annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Walk and Run on Sunday, October 13 at 8am. Registration is free - sign up here. Donations to the Breast Cancer Assistance Group of Monterey County are encouraged.

Let's support cancer research, increase awareness about and access to screening and treatment, and honor the legacies of those who have courageously lived with breast cancer.

Every Sunday, 2pm-4pm, chess matches are played between the tumbling piles of books at Old Capitol Books. Come join us for a relaxed game, a chat, or a wee peek at a nearby page. Beginners are more than welcome. Free for everyone.
