Slowfiber presents a Knit Along with our in-house knitting expert, Becky, beginning July 11. This group is for experienced knitters who wish to work on the same cardigan pattern as we help and encourage each other.

Join photographer Frans Lanting in conversation with Weston Gallery artist Kenneth Parker on Thursday, July 11, 3:30pm-5:30pm at Monterey Museum of Art on Pacific Street.

Lanting and Parker will discuss Frans's Bay of Life project which combines art with conservation through education and engagement for the purpose of contributing to a sustainable future for Monterey Bay as a whole.

Elementary Sewing Skills Sew-Along at Slowfiber

Begin at the beginning with the Slowfiber Book Club Sew Along, starting Thursday, July 11 at 6pm. If you can follow instructions, have some sewing experience, and are comfortable with your machine, join us on Zoom twice a month.

We'll study the "Elementary Sewing Skills" book by Carolyn Denham while working on a Merchant & Mills pattern of your choice. Fee is $40. Register on the Slowfiber website .
