Guest Speaker Kate Wolovsky at Monthly Transgender Group Meeting at ISGC

This event has already passed

The Intimacy, Sexuality and Gender Center of Monterey (ISGC) presents a Transitional Support / Therapy Group on the 4th Tuesday of every month, 7pm-9pm. This is a safe and confidential group addressing the needs of trans women, trans men, gender queer, gender non-conforming, and intersex people. Pre-op, post-op, and non-op folks are warmly welcomed! Please call Wanda for an intake appointment, 831-375-7553.

Meet with others that are on the same path. Share your story, learn from others, and support each other. This group is led by Stephen L. Braveman, co-led by Wanda Braveman, and meets the WPATH Standards of Care.

Tonight we're happy to have guest speaker Kate Wolovsky with us, who will be introducing herself to the group and offering her services as a voice coach. Kate is a person with disabilities, a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, Professional Counselor Trainee, and a trained opera singer with an embodied knowledge of best practices for safely and joyfully exploring the different ways people choose to use their voices. Kate offers a creative, affirming, and supportive journey into the potentiality of vocal expression for people of all gender expression.

For over twenty-five years, ISGC of Monterey has provided professional and experienced psychotherapy and sex therapy services tailored to meet the needs of our community. Our patients enjoy an emotionally safe, confidential, nurturing environment.
