“Everything Bees” Pop-up Tasting & Event at Joseph Boston Store

This event has already passed

Enjoy tastings of Happy Girl Kitchen's locally produced wildflower honey and jams at the historic Joseph Boston Store on Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30, 12pm-2pm. We will also share information on the extraordinary efforts of The Honey Ladies to rescue bees and provide valuable information on finding bee-friendly plants.

Help us save the bees! Pick up our free bee-friendly plant guide. Our celebration of bees, happening March 15 - May 5, includes candles made from the beeswax from rescued bees; local, organic honey, honey stix, bee-themed cards and bookmarks, and award-winning books on pollinator-friendly gardening and bees.

While visiting the Joseph Boston Store, a California landmark recognized as the first General Store in Monterey, check out additional local, artisan products (including local honey, jams, tea, salts, soaps, candles, and art), and products themed to the 1850s. Run by the Historic Garden League, all proceeds are used to preserve and maintain the historic gardens of Old Monterey

Location: Coming from Portola Plaza? You will find the Store behind the Pacific House Museum. Coming from Pacific Street? You will find the store adjacent to the Casa Del Oro Garden, across the street from the First Theater.
