Set in 1948 at the end of his wartime self-imposed exile in the US when he was living on the Monterey Peninsula, in this play the flamboyant eccentric Spanish surrealist reviews his life and his American experience.

British born and raised, from 1998 to 2013 Howard Burnham lived on the east coast of the US, where he did regular work for the National Park Service depicting General Burgoyne, Lord Cornwallis, and other Revolutionary War characters from Bunker Hill to Yorktown. Now a resident of Pacific Grove, he regularly performs his one-man literary and historical characterizations in Jewel Park.
