July 4th Living History Day 2017 - Monterey State Historic Park

Monterey State Historic Park is celebrating our country's independence with a special Living History Day on July 4, 11am-3pm in the Memory Garden, located behind Pacific House Museum at Custom House Plaza. Bring the whole family after the July 4th Parade!
Volunteers and park staff in period attire will guide the activities. Everyone can enjoy the fun, games, and music, by watching or participating in the various historic demonstration stations including: rope making, cooking, leather stamping, games, blacksmithing, 19th century military drill, and fandango dancing.
Entrance fee is $3 for adults, $1 for ages 6-17, and free for age 5 and under. Fees support school programs at Monterey State Historic Park.
