Reception for "Inherent Worth and Dignity: Living Portraits of Homeless Men"

This event has already passed

Venture Gallery is proud to present a reception on Friday, February 3, 5:30pm-7:30pm, for the exhibit "Inherent Worth and Dignity: Living Portraits of Homeless Men," which includes photography by Bob Sadler, narrative by Cassidy Hausman Mason, and video by Monterey City Councilman Tim Barrett. Additional art photography by Bob Sadler will also be shown.

Many of the men photographed have found jobs and housing. At the reception this evening, some of them will be available, along with the creators of the exhibit, to discuss their experiences. There will be a book signing and refreshments will be served.

All day on February 3, proceeds from all Gallery sales will go to I-HELP, an interfaith homeless emergency lodging program providing shelter and meals in over two dozen Monterey Peninsula congregations continuously for 21 years.

"Inherent Worth and Dignity: Living Portraits of Homeless Men" will be on view at Venture Gallery from January 10 through February 20, 2017. The gallery is open 10am-6pm daily.
