More than a restaurant, Lopez Restaurante y Cantina is a dream come true. Our family is happy to share our history and culture by sharing the cuisine that forms such an important part of our Mexican identity.
As Mexican immigrants to the U.S., our family lived and worked in California’s Central Valley, picking fruits and vegetables in the fields. It was during this time that our mother, Graciela, realized that by cooking with the freshest ingredients, she was able to create both the healthiest and most savory dishes for her family. Many years later, when our family began to dream of opening a restaurant, both our mother and our brother, Nacho, began creating the menu for Lopez Restaurante y Cantina by re-fashioning family recipes they had prepared throughout the years and learned from older generations.
At Lopez Restaurante y Cantina, our vision is to serve the freshest and healthiest ingredients and to bring to the table only the finest Mexican-style food that we would serve our own family, conscious that a healthy body is a happy heart.
