Cha-ya is a unique store that specializes in Japanese teas, gifts, and home accessories. We also serve tea to go - we invite you to stop by and try a cup of delicious loose-leaf tea and some sweets.

A unique boutique filled with local arts, ikebana, antiques, gifts, and a wonderful selection of Japanese green tea and tea sets, our items celebrate a range of Japanese art and decor, from ancient tradition to contemporary culture.

Owner Mitsuko Gammon, born and raised in Tokyo, is trained in Ikebana and traditional tea ceremony. She had long wanted to explore the possibilities of bringing her love of tea and Japanese culture to retail. Cha-ya is the result.
