Om Studios: Yoga Mala 108 Sun Salutations to Celebrate the Winter Solstice

Join Om Studios Monterey to welcome the winter solstice! In many yoga traditions, the winter solstice is recognized with the Yoga Mala, 108 Sun Salutions. If you have not yet attended a Yoga Mala, it is a wonderful and challenging experience of yoga as a moving meditation. Kelli Nairn will be guiding students through a combination of Sun Salutation A and B's. We will finish with floor stretching, a short meditation, and savasana.
Some yoga experience is recommended but not required due to the emphasis on the tempo (breath based timing) of the class rather than the alignment. If you are new to yoga or have any questions, please contact Kelli in advance to determine the best approach to prepare for this event. Fee is $20. Please register through the Om Studios website.
